Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Check data: the URL you submit and the technical results of the check (HTTP statuses, headers relevant to bot detection, robots.txt content). Reports are public to anyone with the report link.
• Email address: only if you request an emailed report or weekly monitoring. Used solely for that purpose.
• Analytics: privacy-minimized product events in PostHog. We record page paths, locale, CTA/form outcomes, and the submitted hostname — never URL query strings, email addresses, or report contents.

What we don't do

• No selling or sharing of email addresses with third parties.
• No account is required for the core check. Analytics respects browser Do Not Track.
• No scanning beyond your homepage and standard well-known files (robots.txt, llms.txt, AGENTS.md, Web Bot Auth directory).

Retention & removal

• Monitoring emails contain a one-click unsubscribe link; unsubscribing stops all emails for that domain immediately.
• To delete a report or your email from our records, contact reports@aibotcheck.tech.

Infrastructure

aibotcheck runs on Cloudflare Workers with data stored in Cloudflare D1 (EU/US network). Transactional email is delivered via Resend.

Site owners

Checks are initiated by users and consist of a handful of HTTP requests (comparable to one page view). We identify ourselves where practical and honour rate limits. If you want your domain excluded from checks, email us.
